Brad joins the Technical Staff as Boys Assistant Director of Coaching

The Florida Fire Juniors are pleased to announce Brad Callahan as the Assistant Director of Coaching for the Boys Program and Head Coach of the 16U Boys Premier.  As you see Brad on the fields, please make sure to welcome him to the FIRE family!

“I could not be more excited to be part of such an awesome organization.  What really attracted me to the club was the level of professionalism and organization. To tell you a bit about my background, I served as an Assistant Coach at Bethel College, in Mishawaka, IN from 2013-2016.  In my role, I also served as the Head Coach for the Reserves Team. I was responsible for all aspects of the program such as coaching players, organizing practices and games, recruiting, dealing with many different departments and groups in the college, and mentoring athletes. I coached skills, tactics, off the ball movement, positioning, strength and conditioning, and all soccer concepts and strategies to college players as well as running many different camps with varying levels of ability and age.  I believe it is paramount to not only teach the game but to help bring about athletes who will be responsible, caring citizens eager to make a positive impact in the community.”

“As the Boy's ADOC I will be the face of the program and be active in the community and in building camps, clinics, and activities for the players.  I started Technical Skill Soccer and have built it from the ground up.  I provide many private lessons for players of varying age and ability and put on camps and clinics.  I just recently put on two finishing clinics that were highly successful and all the kids had a blast, and improved greatly at the same time.  Please visit my website www.technicalskillsoccer.com.    I served as the Technical Director for Junior Irish Soccer Club in Northern, IN.  There I oversaw the development of the players and ensured they grew technically on the ball and gained a powerful skill set.  I lead large group sessions of numerous teams where we provided many activities for the players to grow in their abilities. I also coached two U9 teams within the club and managed all aspects of the teams making sure to keep the parents connected.”

“The game of soccer is my absolute passion and I love passing on the knowledge and expertise I have to others.  I have coached at the college level, club teams, high school, many different camps such as World Cup Soccer Camp in South Bend, IN, Coerver Soccer Camp’s, various college camps, and others, and have provided private coaching lessons for many players.  I am very knowledgeable with the NCAA, NAIA, college soccer, high school soccer across the country, NSCAA, U.S. Soccer, and the soccer community.”

“I enjoy using the gifts I have been given to impact others lives in truly great, healthy, and positive ways.  I am very excited to do just that with the Florida Fire Juniors!”

Regards,
Brad Callahan
